how to sort songs

i have over 4000 songs. i would like to put a desktop in my car with a 20x4 or 16x2 character lcd. my question is how would i be able to sort songs with that many songs?

Well first you start with all the songs that start with A, then you put all the songs with B after them, then so on and so on until you get to Z...

Seriously though whats your question? Are you looking for software for navigating song databases with just a char lcd?

well, kinda. i want to get a 16x2 or 20x4 char lcd. but with 4000 songs i'm not sure how to navagate them. i like to use winamp becuase i have a remote already programed for it and an lcd would work perfect. i just need to know some other way to navagate on a 16x2 or 20x4 char lcd.

Use the winamp lcd plugin from here. It is the best one around.
