ok how would you power all that? sounds like you would need some kinde of inverter. i thoght that is bad new? or can you run a pc with that kinda speed of a 200w dc-dc power suply?

Actually, for a project like this I was thinking more along the lines of a generator to create AC current. We're talking about a lot of power needed for four powerhouse gaming PCs plus a server plus network equipment.

But this is all just a fantasy, my friend. The dreams of a whacked-out geek with too much caffeine in his system and a penchant for things vehicular.

Why does this thread like to get resurrected every six months or so?
