Tivo Announces plans for TivoToGo

For those interested - check out http://www.tivo.com/5.3.1.1.asp?article=196 It would appear that if you have a Series 2 Tivo DRV and purchase the license / software / whatever-makes-RIAA-happy keyl you will be able to offload Tivo Content onto your PC, and / or Burn DVD's

If your asking, hey - couldnt you do that with Ultimate TV- Yes, but tivo did it without being a lawsuit (well so far)

I am a HUGE Tivo fan, and am HELL BENT on downloading my home recordings to the PC Car for viewing later on

It's here, but not for DirecTivos. But I'm pulling video off my Tivo already (thanks, TyTools!) and playing it on my carputer as VOBs. Works a treat!
