Talking funny story

I took my car to the dealer to have the seatbelt recall done on it (the mechanism locks too easily). My car is a roadster, so imagine a small car and lots of wiring in it for the computer, TFT, and amplifier/speakers.

They had it for a day and then call me back and go "Sorry we can't do the recall because of all of your wiring and electronics on it, we don't want to damage anything, but if you take it all out and bring it back, we can do the work."

Hah I thought that was pretty funny.

Tell them "I would gladly take it all out, but your defective seat-belt mechanism is in the way, preventing me from doing so. Replace the faulty mechanism, and I will be able to pull it all out"! LOL!!!

Hahaha! I had a friend that was having some problems with his car, and he took it in to get fixed and the company wouldn't even look at it because he had a remote starter on it! Thing is, is that it didn't have ANYTHING to do with the work he needed done on it. It was something like the brakes or something. Stupid dealer mechanics (apologize if you are one, but seriously, come on!)won't or can't fix anything on a car if there have been ANY mods done to it.

Cool

Hehehe....Back a year or two ago, I took my car to Canadian Tire for a quick oil change (past due, needed it done NOW, etc.). The "technician" told me he thought I needed a new timing belt because of the weird noise the engine made (slight exhaust leak).

Now that I think about it, I should have let them try...

Canadian Tire. They just lost $200 in sales to me cause I returned a whole bunch of stuff because I couldn't "PROVE" that WalMart had cheaper prices. I told them to phone them, that should be proof enough, and they said no! So I returned the $200 in products and spent the money at WalMart. What idiots!

Flippin' Crappy Tire!
