Question Mp3truck?

Well, I'm gonna be selling my car soon (its still in the dang shop!)
and am looking for a SUV or truck for around 2500$.
So, I was looking on Autotrader.com and saw that Pickups were much cheaper than cars. So, how hard would it be to mount a mp3system in a truck?
Would my 600watt inverter fit under the seat?
And where could I put the computer?
I may look for an extended cab, so that might solve some problems.
Tell me what you think of this truck

Thanks,
Logan

Anything can be done, but the question is - how much time do you want to spend making things fit and with how much money? Those old F150s have a good deal of space (lots of nooks and crannys to shove things in). I assume that truck has a bench seat which will give you lots of space underneath to work with. There are two problems though with going with that one. The ride and the price. The ride isnt going to be the softest or smoothest, especially not in an 89 ford. You would need to do some serious padding around your computer. That price tag isnt so great either. Drive over here to Detroit and you can get that truck for $2000 max.

Side notes - older cars (espcially ammerican) tend to need mantaince.
Also, I think that F150 gets atmost 15 mpg.

Cool

I wouldn't worry about the ride. If an MP3 player can survive in my RX-7, it will survive anywhere.

I don't think you'll have problems fitting all this in a pickup.

I'm currently planning a system for my 94 GMC extended cab, I have plans for a amp under the drivers seat, a double sub box under the rear seat, if I can't afford the DC-DC PSU, i'll install the inverter under the passenger seat, and the plans are to build a carputer box that will slide neatly into my center console between the captains chairs :-)
