I have something similar...
2000 Mazda Protege.

Get an indash mount from digitalww. Mine's on the way.
Right now it just magically floats in the air.

ok finally I started my flush mount install in my Mazda 626....i bought another bezel, but wanted another try in case i screwed it up so I made a mold of it out of fiberglass and I'm going to try that first. i'll post pics sometime this weekend.

The pic is what the bezel looks like....I wanted to use the double din opening for the lcd because it is just about perfect, but there isn't enough depth in the dash for my head unit to go where the door and cigarette lighter are....

My solution now(that I hope works out) ist put the lcd at the bottom of the bezel and the head unit above the lcd......

Let me know if you have any other ideas...

Finally have some picks up and it wasn't as hard as i thought it was going to be....I did have a lot of pointers from Altimat though!!! It's not finished yet...Still have to prime again and sand and put on the final coat.......

Let me know what you think..
