Emulators

Now sure where this is supposed to go, so I suppose I will post it in here.
What types of Emulators are out there? I know there is SNES and N64, but do they have anything newer, like PS2 or Xbox?

Is my friend, however lately I have been getting CRAZY popups when I go to google, don't know why

That's bogus. Found a ps2 emulator here:
http://www.pcsx2.net/ though I don't know how good it is or it may even still be in beta. But it exists.

Thing is, while I did find both of those sites, I can't find any games to download to play on them. For instance, my brother has a Nintendo Emulator, and probably has 50 games.

That's right. I can't ever say no to proving someone wrong!

I hope there's still enough spark left on the board that people do the same with me...

Right, but I would think that would be considered pirating which is not something that that is looked on as being right here.

Hmm... maybe try places like edonkey/overnet, dc++, you know file sharing apps. Stay legal though man, just download the homebrew games...

Well originally, I was just going to install an Xbox in the car, but.. I don't think I will be able to afford to. Oh well

Yeah, probably have to have a pretty beefy system to run an xbox emulator and actually enjoy it though.

Whether they exist or not, CoRPS wanted an alternative to installing an Xbox in the car. Homebrew games and emulators that run at 4fps with no sound don't count.

if you mean quality and compatible with a lot of stuff, it goes up to the last generation, and the latest portable generation. I suspect that in two or three years(or somewhere around the later middle part of the next generation of consoles.) gamecube, PS2, and xbox emulators will get pretty good. Still need damn good equipment, but it'll only be "gamer" level stuff.

Also, the xbox is at said level. playstation and N64 and older, GBA and older. that sucker's going into the family car(not being old enough to own your own car sucks at times like this.).
