Album Art Orginization?

Hey guys I just wanted to find out how others are managing their Album art.

Currently i use MusicMatch Jukebox 9 plus.

Most of my music is unorganized. I have downloaded most of it. The artists that I have alot of have their own directory.

I really like how MusicMatch Jukebox automatically gets the the album art.

I use frodo player currently. What options do i have and what needs to be done for me to get the same funtionality in frodoplayer. Do i have to organize my music by ARTIST\ALBUM?

Thanks for the input. After spending about 6-8 hours tightening up my ID3 tags i figure i mine aswel utilize them

I think the best you could do is try to get the full albums.. Most torrents are full albums with album art..
I lnow the problem.. got them myself.. And i have loads of mp3 which i created myself..
Real pain in the ***..

BitTirrent - a P2P file sharing tool, http://dessent.net/btfaq/#what

I think he is saying that when you download a (royalty free?!) album using this tool the ones you find usually include the album art.

Chris.

does it matter how u name the file for the album cover?

Yes, you do. And in that album directory the art should be saved as "album.jpg".

So how do i access the images? I searched around in the MusicMatch program file directory and didn't find where they are stored.

In FrodoPlayer 1.08:

It looks in the tags.
It looks for a filename called "album.jpg"
It looks for a filename called "anymedianame.mp3.jpg"

Where anymedianame is one of your media files.
(More useful for videos on this one)

When you say that it looks in the tags... what exactly do you mean?

i think what he means that in certain mp3 files the image is actually embedded in the tag... so you can actually embed the image into the mp3 file and not have to worry about sorting by album\artist. but then you'd have to go through and embed all your files. trade-off. hehe.

then again i dont use frodoplayer so i may be 100% off. if so, my apologies.

Does anyone else have any thoughts or comments on this. I guess since i don;t have whole albums that embedding the image is the file would work best for me. Is this possible?

Music match has an option when you tag the file to include the image.

I just stated using it so i just used the "supertagging" options where it goes out and checks with some cd db and inturn an image shows up evertime i play the song.

I guess my next question is for frodo: Will then the mp3 played within frodoplayer show the correct album art. From your previous statement "It looks in the tags" i would assume yes.
