Hi, I'm just curious if anyone has made an effort to disable the DVD lockout on most vehicles (Such as my father's Caddy CTS) that occurs when shifting from Park to Drive.
I understand the safety feature, but the whole family would enjoy watching DVD's on out longer road trips, and the in-car sound is amazing!
Before you ask, they are not the types who will do major surgery to their cars, so a carputer, etc is out of the question in this case.
I have no idea how you would do this (software, cut a wre,etc), but I figure there is a chance that at least afew here have tried.
