I had the same problem as you (blank screen), then I realized that my new edited bitmaps had a depth of 24 bits, whereas the original ones were 4 bits (16 colors). After I corrected this, my new logos worked perfectly.
Well I exported the original file out and edit using PhotoShop. Then I reimport it back using reshaker.
But I'm not sure if it retains the depths (in this case, shallowness?

), but I did save it in 4 bits.
Maybe I should recheck later when I have time.
