Someone once said that his car says "God bless you!" when he sneeze. Anyone know how to do that?

I cant give you a diffinitive anwser but most likely all the person did was use a speech program like SPAI and had a prerecorded scrypt that would say "Bless you" upon hearing a sound like a sneeze.

I dont have any details that I would be able to give you; but in basicly that is how it was done.

A sneeze probably has a pretty distinct signature (basically a big sudden spike) so I recognizing it probably isn't that difficult.

With SAPI's voice recognition, you need to define the words you want the speech engine to recognize. Maybe if you add the word "ACHOO!" (or however your sneeze sound ) in your dictionary then it would recognize your sneeze.

I'll have to try this with my voice reco app.

Code:
<RULE NAME="speak" ID="RID_Speak" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <L PROPNAME="speakvalue"> <P VALSTR="Bless you.">Achoo</P> </L> </RULE>

You can do that with NaviVoice if you configure it properly
