Looking for a Windows Programmer (and a Darn good one)

Last night while I toyed with the computer for my car I was struck with an idea, I did about 2 hours of web research and no one seems to be making one.

I am looking for a GOOD programmer, someone that can write device drivers and a Electronics engineer, If I can make this happen and it works the way I think it would, it might save a few lives and be worth a few bucks.

I don't want to give away my idea but I need someone that can write custom Windows or CE drivers for embedded devices (Linux would also work and might be more stable)

If you want to get anybody interested, you need to give some idea of what this device is gonna do.

I am currently working on a flow chart to talk about all the options in a general way with out letting the cat out of the bag I won't disclose the idea untill I get some VC and know it won't get taken (trust me I spent 10 hours searching the internet and NO one is making this)

Here is some of the logic in a general manner so I don’t give away the idea
So far I am up to 600 events and event options

Turn on SW.
D1 Activates If D1 is less then Threshold then Display ER1
M=1 Activates

D2 Activates If D2 is less then Threshold then Display ER1
M=1 Activates

If GR = less then 3% then Display M2 and Do function N1 Display Result from N1

If R1 > Threshold then Display M3

Turn on IR1
V1 Switched to Main, S1 Activates, Output from S1 Overlays on V1 and M1, If DS 1 is less then Threshold then Display M4

SW=Switch
D=Device
E=Event
M=Modules (small resizable applets that display information)
ER=Errors

im lost as well,
it looks like you want to monitor something and then have certain events happen when a certian threshold is hit? It looks like these events are dependant on each other, ie event 1 cant happen w/o event 2 etc?

What are GR, IR1,V1,S1,R1, your key didnt really specify what these would fall under

Speaking in generalizations isn't going to cut it either.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade but just because you didn't find it on the net after 10 hrs of searching doesn't mean no one is making it.

...it also could mean that it doesn't work, or not viable

Couldn't have said it better. man, talk about the sleepless nights and days I go through when I have to find what I am looking for.

Did you search the patent office first, it could be listed there. besides, if you don't trust any one, you would have to build it your self, from your posting I gather that you don't know electronics nor programing, it is going to be tough.

.

Search Patent offices & intellectual property.. if its not out there.. before you've even made the idea a real thing you can aquire intellectual property...

As far as the whole "I need a programmer thing" your information was so vague, I'm a programmer... and the logic you had reminded me of taking a crap...

re-done logic:
if something (crap) is pushing at 3% turn on the bathroom light switch... and do function.

I think you need to get that looked at.

I'd be more worried about 3x per day than 1x per week!
