How much have you spent so far

Just seeing how much people are dropping in to there systems. This is what I got so far, trying to give people a good idea of what they are getting in to.
Of course it can be done for cheaper (maybe)

May I ask where you purchased it? I have fond the Panasonic slim slot drive for 70 at two differnt sites (new egg and another) but both are out of stock and everywhere else is charging upwards of a 100 dollars

Well over 1500$. Didn't have anything to start with. All the components are brand new...Linitx TS, M10000, 512RAM, 120HDD, DVD, Opus 150W, Travla C137, GPS, CCD back up cam, rear view switcher, USB HUB, USB irda, rf kb&mouse, wireless lan... and miles and miles of high quality cables...

I estimate that I've spent 1000 hours over the past 4 years reading MP3Car.com and building my machine. I bill myself out at $60/hr (I know, cheap) so that would come to $60,000.
Minus hardware, coffee, and pizza expenses, of course.
