Thumbs up Have your friends make their own playlist!

Being the fact that I'm 16 and driving now. Me and my friends have similar tastes in music and when we switch cars, we usually bring our cd's with us (not anymore for me!). So I decided that considering I have more songs than Liberachi, why not have people make their own playlists? I made shortcuts of all my MP3's and zipped them into a 400k file. Now anyone (even 56k modem people) can download this, compile their own playlist and mail it back to me! That way my friend doesn't have to bring his "saturn mix" into my car. He can just use the same playlist and listen to it like it was there! http://www.geocities.com/dudah85/ss.htm there's the link to download it and stuff. Nothin fancy, just hardcore HTML. Maybe someone will pick up on this idea and make a program, or a Flash program, so you can directly upload the playlist to the carputer.......give me your ideas!!!!!

Then created a seperate list of just the songs you like. Then both of u can load up ur list or what not. Hmmmmm....i wont say anything maybe someone see's or is thinking the same as me

Sort of, but the other person creating the playlist doesnt need the MP3's, only the shortcuts. I made shortcuts to my MP3's (copy, past shortcut) so i just points back to the directory that mp3 is in only on my carputer. When they make the list, it only consists of the shortcuts. On their computer, the list won't work because it is looking for an mp3 that they don't have in a folder they dont have. But when they put it on my computer, it works because it is now a valid shortcut meaning when you double click on it, it will actually play.
