Finally figured out the problem...

I thought it was a loose electrical wire causing my computer to die. I have been letting it run inside for a little while and finally figured it out. Winamp locks up and then slowly the rest of the computer follows. I have no idea how to fix this one besides reinstalling the entire thing.

reinstalling only takes an hour to an hour and a half so just do it :P

Err, I dunno about all that. There's a reason why winamp is crashing, whats your application log say ? what OS are you using ?? What service packs do you have installed ?

Yea reinstalling the OS takes an hour and a half but what about all the other applications... sometimes it can be 3+
