Idea...
Well I was thinkin...I have nView and what I wanted to do was on the 2nd output, split it into 3 touchscreens...all should work just fine as long as they can handle the same resolution just fine. And on Video1...install a bigger screen and have that screen specificly as the main control screen....the other 3 will be strictly for the front end. And mold the big main screen where the licence plate was. but totaly weatherproofing it so no water or dirt gets into it. And the computer while car is shut down, will be in sleep mode. but a touch of the screen on the trunk could pull the computer out of sleep, and I could acess the entire car this way....have the car start, disengage the alarm (good if I can't find my keys)...And I could set it up so that it displays a complete high res scan of my licence plate while the computer is running. I thought this was a cool idea. A good secuity idea. And on those nights when I'm hittin up the illigals, if cops break it up, I can just suspend my computer, and it will hide the licence plate Ehh who knows, its just an idea... it originaly started as this screen goin in the trunk...but theres no reason I can't split this signal and have two screens, one in the trunk that only turns on when the trunk is opened, and the one on the trunk. I think this would be kick *** to see in shows n ****.

you are crazy. I like it. although im a bit confused on what you are trying to do...
Have a screen, on the back, so you can get in your car? Where is your plate at? What if your battery dies? Or is just silly cool

Yeah, definately against the law, but other than that, an alright idea. Or you could have it so the license plate is connected to a few linear actuators that would push the license plate out of the way to show the screen when you did something.
I have thought about just ways to hide a license plate by the way I mentioned above, but never looked into it. Never had a problem with police chaseing my hot rod Buick ParkAve yet

The plate is in my glove compartment...and I have the rear screen that is fiberglassed where the licence plate was, display a wall paper of a scan of the licence plate...so when my carputer starts....all 3 screens inside the car start up as well as the screen on the trunk....but the 3 touchscreens in the car all display the same screen, which will be the front end....the screen on the trunk as well as the screen inside the trunk, will display the main screen which will have all access to the computer and car, but when I'm drivin around, it will have the wall paper of my licence plate...get what I'm sayin?

One screen is enough. I just want it for message to people behind me like. Get the **** off my ***! or hey baby http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...6&postcount=30

oh yeah what about just puttin the screen in front of the plate. use the light (well would have to beef it up) for the plate, for the screen when you want the screen to disply. know what i mean vern

Ohh, I've seen some ****! I kid you not, I have seen some ****! lmao
I been to a few illigal races, vaded the cops once. Not like I need a hideaway licence plate or anything like that, just a cool idea. I dont think it will really be illigal as long as it shows the licence plate on the screen....
Maybe I should just stick to my original idea, by just having a screen in the trunk for that crap..but it would be soo cool to like pull up to sonic at the local hang out, and back my car into a car hop stall....and my licence plate automaticly turns into a video ....
Imagine drivin home, rush hour traphic at night...and you turn on some pornography on the screen on the trunk for the person behind you to see...HAHAHAHAHAHA, that would be hella funny.

Dont worry, its completly illigal.
I believe ANY modifications to the license plate is against the law, let alone having a counterfeit plate.
Of course, those flags that used to be popular that hang off the windows were also illigal, but I never saw anyone get pulled over for them (or at least in my state they were against the law).
Plus, I am sure that with certain lighting conditions, the screen would be impossible to see.
If you honestly wanted to do that, I think the only way would be to do the flip out license plate. It would have just as much of a pimp factor, while being legal

Motorized Hideaway Plate...Daytime have the original plate infront of the screen...but at night scroll the plate up or to the side, totaly hiden, and now displaying the screen which has a complete scan of the licence plate.

I'd love to find like a USB Touchscreen Keypad. I've found some USB keypads....I wanna use it for like security....it would be cool.

No its not that i want to do it. Im talking about my other idea. I think it will work. Well atleast it would prob on temp tags. I dont know about the reflection off the plates. But if it works in projectors i dont see why not. I dont have the money to test it or the time to read im working on a silly logo(Monkey Bubbles )

I mean you are allowed to have to tented things over your plates right? why not a screen that wont work in the day time nor will it work at night if no data is sent to it. Also the cops are not going to get ****ed if the plates are to well lit up are they? Just and idea. Ok back to my monekys...
