addicted to mp3car.com???

O.K, so I've been playing with pc's in the car for a long time now, & I have been frequenting this site often since it's begining, becoming a member & posting recently, & I've noticed that there are a few users that are always here!!!!! It's like they live here or something............I don't think that it matters whether I'm on at 9am or 1am, or anything inbetween, there just seems to be some that are always here!!!!!!!!!!!!now I'm not going to point out who it is that I notice is always here, but you know who you are ........... so it started me thinking, are any of you addicted to mp3car.com? or is it that you just love it so much that you spend every spare waking hour lingering here.......... I know I find myself lingering here more & more, both reading & posting, sometimes to learn, sometimes to see how others do things....sometimes to give advice, sometimes to ask for it........ addicted......me? ..nahhhhh, anybody else?

agreed

this damn site.....great fun though and to see the effort and thought that goes into these projects is awesome and best of all we can al ldo it ourselves, and we occasionally get to slap the newbies, the good newbies suddenly have a decent post count, the bad newbies just disappear, kinda keeps the site on track ! natural Darwinian process !

When I first log onto the PC at Home and at work, I go to one of my email accounts (the one which is registered at the forums I visit) and check through the notifications, make comments, check new posts, and then leave one browser window open on each forum while I do something else. Occasionally coming back to see if anything of interest has happened.

So it may appear that I am on from waking up to going to bed, however I might not be at the screen for 80% of that time.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Hi I'm Tim and I'm a MP3car-holic, (Crowd: Hi Tim.)

It started out as a hobby, you know, just after dinner. Then a couple of times on weekends. Then it grew to a few evenings, then every evening, sometimes first thing in the morning (like today!). Well, by then people started to talk, "Why is he always sitting in his car with it running?" The kids started to notice, complain. "Daddy, why is the dash torn a part? again!"
Started to effect me at work. Grabbing a quick scan at lunch grew to having a browser window minimized to the taskbar at all times. I'd find myself daydreaming, "Wonder when frodo will release the next version." "Can't wait until David releases 1.3, hope it's faster." "I swear, if some newbie ask about lilliput/xenarc I'll scream!"

Sure, I've tried to stop, tried to cut back, 5 mins here, a few post there. Even gone cold turkey. Then....well....you know. A new frontend is released, a Road Runner update. Next thing I know I wake up in a haze, lying in the gutter with sodder burns and sign that says "will work for computer hardware."
