I don't even have enough space to list that I have an earthmate. Damn the 255 character limit! It should be a LINE not a character limit!

When you dont have a sig and post, it automatically tells that post to not display sig. So if you add a sig the post will still be set to not display it. If you go back and click edit, you can turn it back on. Find "additional options" and click "show your sig."

I like the character limit. I've got a Dodge Ram, and periodically peruse dodgetalk.com forums. There's guys the have signatures that are like 30 lines long.
So for a one line reply, there's 30 lines of signature, and then another reply, with the same 30 lines of signature.

I'm not supporting unlimited line limit. What I'm supporting is a line limit of around 6 lines.

It seems alot of members list thier speed but not the mobo IMHO i think mobo specs (eg Asus A7N8X-VM or Epia MII etc) might help newcommers and established members choose/configure thier parts better

Well, the thing is, to prevent spamming, why don't we use all post our specs in one thread, then if someone wants to see if somone else is running similar specs, they can browse/search that one thread/forum.

In my opinion, I don't really need to read what userxxx is running, EVERY time they post?

That's just my opinion, yadda yadda yadda...

Cheers,

Kris

[Edit] Besides, I just assume the people that don't have anything listed, don't have anything worth listing yet. Mine's just a pile of parts and ideas right now. I could list them, but I'd have to change the list every other day...[/Edit]

I can really care less what your sig says your specs are. As a BETTER suggestion, maybe a 3rd party module for PHPbb (custom or whatever) so you can list your specs out maybe as a 2nd profile or some button to see?

as it looks like from the front page, they maybe be bringing back the member pages like old times where you could list your OS and processor.
