Question CPU location for Mini Cooper

I am moving my car computer from a GMC Sonoma to a Mini and was wondering if there are any Mini Moders out there who have found good locations for the computer? I have searched MP3car and the Mini boards and have not seen any installation examples. I have seen examples of the LCD mounted in the central pillar, which is what I intend to do.
