Oh *****, I'm excited!

I was browsing through tablet PCs on eBay a moment ago and found a really cheap deal on a P166 touchscreen with USB and a bunch of other features. Only $114!!! So, even though I recently lost my job, I had to buy it. And I did.

See, I'm trying to upgrade my system to a better one.
But I'm a cheap bastard.

So, a tablet PC seemed like a perfect solution. Mind you, my current system is a P133 with 16 megs of RAM, and no USB, so this will actually be an upgrade for me!
But I'm a bit scared since I never worked with tablets before. Does anyone here have any good links to tablet installs? I really want to check some out.

Oh, here's the thing, btw:

Specs are the following:

P166, 32mb RAM, 4GB HD (will put in my 7GB one), USB 1.1 (which means even more memory, external storage), 10.4" touch screen, 800x600, CardBus PCMCIA (which means USB2 with a proper adapter), etc.

Good stuff, and certainly an upgrade for me. I'm going to take it apart and hopefuly mold it into dash, but I have doubts that my dash is big enough. We'll see. Wish me luck

Yeah, it's just like a laptop. Problem is, I want to take the LCD out and mold it into dash without extending any ribbon cables. This is going to be a hard task, and I might end up buying ribbon extenders from molex. But this will be my last setup for this car (hopefully). Should provide me with everything I need, plus I like the screen size. Smaller than what I have now, yet not too small like the lilliput. My eyesight is crap, I need a big screen.

I was thinking about rotating it 90 degrees and getting rid of the front vents and molding the screen in there. Should look decent, but I'm not sure if there's any software for Win98SE that can rotate my screen. I know there is for XP, but not sure if 98SE supports it.

Also, do any of you know if Win98SE supports USB2?

Unfortunately CPUs from desktop computers won't work in laptops/tablets.
But good news on 98SE, I just happen to have a PCMCIA>USB2 card lying around
