Are you out of HD space?

If so there is a small prog called: MP3AACConv it need at least framework 1 to work. But it works well an shrink your MP3 files to half or 1/3 without changing the sound quality. It's done by a Kevin and you can get it here

yeah i think mp3 compression is bare enough, i dont trust anything that tries to reduce more from the file size.

I've convert about 12000 MP3 and it work great. Possibly I'm deaf but I can't hear any difference. And I saved about 10GB

There are several other file formats avaialble. WMV is good onsize I beleive. Also Ogg's seem to be more popular.

yeah, back then hardrive space might have come at a premium, but now adays a 500gig drive is just a bit over $100, hardrive space shouldn't be much of an issue anymore

Yeah, I know. I used to use the program to change my mp3's to aac and put them on my phone, but I can't seem to find this little app again. It worked really nice and I would really like to use it again.
