stupid OBD1 interface.

Win XP sometimes detects my OBD1 engine management interface and a serial mouse. The interface makes the cursor co crazy all over the display and the OBD1 software will not see it's com port as available. I'll just go into device manage and uninstall this non existantserial mouse and then everything is fine. Can I go into services and shut off plug in play or can i just prevent the serial ports somehow from searching for new hardware?

I made it. I found the schematic here. I used the AKM232 schematic. It works great except for the little problem I mentioned.
