Does anyone know where in the UK I can find a decent looking momentary switch to mount on the dashboard? I've searched but so far they all look really tacky.
I'm not sure what kind of dash you have - but Mine has a few extra slots for addon options, like a automatic sliding door and so-on. Look in a junk yard for a switch that was used in one fo those extra panels. OEM baby.
I have to think you can find the Bulgin vandal resistant switches somewhere in the UK, Bulgin being a UK company and all. They're a bit pricey, but they certainly look nice, and you have a choice if ring, dot, or no illumination.
