It must have been a typo. He lists the EVDO service as $80 per month.
Still, it's really cool what he did with the router.
You can't wardrive people with EVDO and their wireless card turned on, can you?

depends on the mode they have their wifi card in. Short answer: yes, you can.

Yea $80 is a little steep. I like the whole package though, in that little box. However most of us could already do this with out current setups and a pci to pcmcia adapter.

No. it's 79.99 for unlimited EVDO or 1X access. If you use a pc card modem, that is the only choice you have. Does work great though....
