the security bolts are generally not as stong as the normal bolts so if the others. Therefore you should never tighten them as much as the others - this also stops you *****ing the heads/tool on them up as they are too tight.
Probably was a case of the other bolts being slackened off or even removed.

i have TSW rims and haven't had a problem with them.
your lugs were probably not torqued correctly or like everyone else said about the thief being too lazy to tighten them for you. lol

sorry for not replaying earlier guys...but today was another great day. I woke up this morning to a dead battery, and the funny thing was that because my locks are broken, I couldn't even get inside it. After waiting 1 1/2 hours the AAA people came, slimmed me in and jumped the batt. Here are the pics from the rim incident. What you guys don't know is that the lugs were all still attached as in pic1 (look closely). And mind you all.....I hit nothing....ever!!

$4600?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know about 22" rims (my car can't exactly handle that, unless I wanted to drive on metal)
but TSW in general aren't the highest quality brand..but definately not THAT bad.
I guess this site: http://store.racerwheel.org/racerwhe...-rims-tsw.html
shows them for $3404 before shipping for 22" (no tires I think). Damn expensive.
Definately agree with frodo, make sure you don't end up having to pay for this crap. Obviously insurance'll cover it, but you better make it so that your insurance company isn't the people to have to pay for it in the end... they'll make YOU pay for it soon enough.
Good luck

lol!! yes...there definately will be a lawsuit....not only do I want full reinbursement for the rims and tires, but there is damage to my fender, and also need them to pay for tow..tire change..day off of work..etc.. funny thing is that I don't think there is any other damage to axles, etc.. I still have to have the mechanic take a good look at it. I think TSW is a good brand for racing rims, but I was always a little skeptical about going with truck rims because they are fairly new to the game with big rims. I guess this is true afterall. When this is settled, you guys will definately rad up on this in DUB magazine, and various others....

trust me, just push REALLY hard saying that there is damage.
Chances are there's some damage, might be small, but who cares, it's not your damn fault.
Check every damn thing.. any small nicks etc, even the frame... all that junk.. just check it before you get any checks. Because once you cash in that check, if you find something else wrong that was caused by the incident, too bad.

Mental anguish? Had you been on the freeway - you'd be kaput! Let that sink in... You'd better call your psychiatrist right now!
You have 3 more of those things, don't you? Better not drive your car for a while because the same thing might happen again and kill a family on their way to church!
Seriously, though. It happened once, it can happen again. And what if that families relatives decide to sue - who are they going to sue? YOU! For driving on rims you KNOW FOR A FACT are BAD!
Seriously, get that sucker off the road NOW until you get new rims on it. Sue the manufacturer for your pain and hardship because you can't drive your car. Think of the children!
