Glad you are ok, hope everything works out with the rim company paying.

I had a horrible experience with the Kuhmo tires also, maybe it was just my bad luck but at 30,000 I had to replace all four, they started splitting down a seem in the middle of the tire right in the center of water channel. I dont remember there exact name, but they were directional and Z rated, I am pretty sure they are the same or close (not in size obivously) to the ones you had there. Just a warning since you might be getting new tires, my new tires are much much quiter then the kuhmos were as well.

I had problems with Kuhmo's too. Though my problems seemed to be that they developed huge bulges on the sidewalls. Replaced two one year, and the year after that replaced all four, as the new ones I bought the year before were bulging also. I was on my way to Carlisle, PA for the All Truck Nationals, and one tire got a bulge almost the size of a large egg. That's the last time I use Kuhmo's.

The ones I got on there now are called Wanli s-1099, I dont know anything about them really as I usually research large purchases before I buy them but this one happend to quick THey seem pretty good, the car rolls much quiter as I mentioned before there seemed to be a lot of road noise with the kuhmos, and I think it handels better too, but the tires are brand new after all and that could just be in my head.

@pepe Ya, kuhmo really ****ed me off, Z rated directional tires are not cheap, I will never buy from them again either. It was a obvious manufacturing issue, and dangerous as hell, the tires were litterly splitting in half. If I had not noticed I could have easly had a blow out. Same thing with your bulging side walls, I know I kept the PSI right at 30-32 in mine. ****y tires.

TSW=Terribly soft wheels. I don't think you are the first to have problems but I would say you are the first I have heard of with something that extream.
