Help with dvd isos

I built a system for my buddy and hes got a dvd player in the back, however, hes got nearly 60gigs free and has about 8 dvds he'd like to put on his computer so he doesnt have to get out and put the disc in the drive. This can be accomplished by using Alcohol 120% and mounting the ISO.

The problem:
I cant seem to find a program to make an iso of the dvd properly. Ive only tried alcohol and nero, but its kind of a pain in the *** to get data on it right now, so I cant keep trying stuff. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this properly? They are store bought dvds that give protection errors.

You need DVD Decrypter to break the protection.

Why don't you just rip it to DivX ? it's gonna be easier to play after and you won't have 10 fake DVD drives on your system

divx would seem more practical but he wanted virtual drives with the dvd on there. Interactiveness. Hes all for the bling.

Dont bother with the iso images.

Simply install Slysofts anydvd and copy all the files on the dvd to a hdd folder....then any decent dvd software will have a "dvd from folder" option.
