Comparison of composite to component are used in video connections but not in speaker designs. I guess its a word used locally cuz around here no one ever refer to a coaxial Speaker as composite. Even if you do a google search, composite is never being refered to as coaxial Speakers

ok, whatever you guys wanna call 'em, coaxial or composites, it's still the same to me. And I would still install 6.5" composites/coaxial in the back (which I'm gonna do eventually) and 6.5 components in the front (which I have done already)

In that case liberty is only sold in AU. Something to do with the WWII so they have to rename the car to Liberty.

It's amazing that one single car can have 3-4 different names when you cross international borders. Hell, it's amazing one single car can have different names in the same country.

2003 WRX speaker sizes

While we're on the topic of WRX speakers, what are the speakers sizes for the 2003? I've heard everything from 6.5" all around, 4" all around, 5 1/4 front 4" rear, etc.
Does anyone know if the 2003 has the rear deck opening, and if so what size speakers fit? I know I can just check in 5 hours when I get home from work, but this is easier and quicker.

dunno bout wrx, but the legacy....

the a$$holes at the local car audio shop were Postive that it was a 6.5" hole, and these 6.5" components would just screw straight in.
YEA RITE

legacys hav a 6" hole and i now hav to get out the cutters to make it fit

I have a wagon, no rear deck, but 6.5" in the front if they are shallow enough and you might need a spacer. 5.25 in the rear, some speakers will require some metal removal on the opening.
