Post Cigarette lighter Car adapter.

When trying to hook up my portable cd player to my car radio with a cigarette power adapter I get ALOT of backround noise. With AA batteries it sounds very clean. Can anyone help with this? I have my sound feeding intro the cd changer hookup of my pioneer with the correct adapter head runninf into a small project box and then to a headphone sized jack.

Cool

Grounding your equipment will solve this problem. Another easy way is to get one of those noise filter thing from radio shack, cost about $15

the ground in your cigarette lighter is horrible. It's VERY noisy. You _could_ take apart your dash and properly ground the cigarette lighter (and then put the dash back together, of course)

Talking

Or buy a cd-deck? Won't have to worry about skipping
