Carputer Shock Absorber

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2004 Nissan Armada which rides a little rough. My carputer sits underneath the front passenger seat. I was wondering if there is a product on the market that you can use to lay a carputer on, so when driving it absorbs most of the bumps so that the carputer isn't taking bad hits.

I was thinking of taping a pillow to the floor of my truck (underneath the front passenger seat) and resting the carputer on top of this pillow. I haven't given it too much thought, but wanted to get some opinions.

I would have to figure out a way to secure the carputer to the pillow somehow, but that shouldn't be to difficult.

What do you guys think? or maybe there is a better solution.

Consensus is that shock hasn't been a big problem even for fairly rough rides but some have suggested using that gel that they have for wrist wrests and such.

Search on terms "gel" or "shock" to find some threads on this topic.
