I am very new to this fourm(this is my second post
) but I know a little about computers; so I wanted to point out something I noticed. Now this is not a bash or a flame(yea I know when you start a sentence like taht it usually is) but there seems to be somewhat of a feud on OS options.
I get tired of searching for linux stuff to find people fighting on the fourm. I am a linux person and will remain one forever. I was going to post this on another post but decided to make my own thread becuase the wars yall wage on here last to long and most people stop reading after the first page.
"So what the Fook is your point?" well to me windows sucks, but thats my opinion. I dont like viruses and I love stablity and scalabilty. Though in the carputer world I like to be able to chop up and OS or compile from source. Thats what linux does for me.
As for the thought that Mac is evil because they do not go with the standard. That is very intrigueing to me since if it wasnt for IBM(NOT ****IN BILL) Mac could of been the standard. Stop complaining about the wake times, the lack of software, or the frontends. If someone can make it for windows they can make it for linux or mac; they just might not have done this yet.
Besides we all know that windows steals alot of their ideas. Like taking the ext3 filesystem form windows and hacking it out and copywriting it; I have no idea if tahts legal
To bad this post wont do **** to get yall to shut up. 5 bucks says(just a saying, dont have money to waste thanks to this hobby) this will start another feud, but at least I got my 'cents' in to where people will actually see it
p.s. we need a "STFU" smily, would come in handy
