The Ultimate Decision

I have been away from Mp3Car for amost a year, with a layoff last year, relocating to Texas, then to Michigan, well theres only so many hours in a day to keep up with "CarPuters".

Well, I've been trying to catch up with all thats been happening... RR (Great App!), Skins (You guys are GREAT!), etc., etc., ..

Now its been one month and now my girlfriend gives me the "Ultimate Decision". Its me or your CarPuter !!!

God, I'm going to miss that girl !

Great to be back!

.

She probably wasn't the right girl then. She probably has or does things that she likes to do on the side that you may not enjoy or that takes up some of her time away from you. It's not fair to give someone an ultimatum (me or the car) Couldn't there be a happy meduim?

A lasting relationship should allow for each person to grow while in the relationship. I think that persuing the CarPC as your hobby could be considered growth. Hey at least your not addicted to drugs or anything.

Wish you the best!

women that think that that is the best way to get your attention usually cant understand that what you do in life has made you the person they fell in love with and to try and change that is just the start of a slippery slope downward.

I hate seeing relationship discussions on message boards. So sad...

PS: I'm assuming that Pokey was using a thing called 'sarcasm' - if not, I owe an apology for being rude.

I had that happen to me, except she took up with one of the the school bullys, SO i just walked away, no point getting a kicking to let him prove he was still fitter/faster/stronger than me, about 6 month later she realised its a quiter life and safer life with the geek than the bully, as bullys like to bully everyone in time. I didnt laugh, honest.

been together 20 years now. never complains about computers or cars anymore........

Dont feel useless, dont feel hurt, remember its _all_ her fault so you better off without her so you are free in time to meet someone more understanding.

And if your less than 25 its quite a common thing for relationships to be short/explosive, its because you have not found common ground as your exploring boundries in the way you react to each other and your expectations of each other, every relationship is practice for the next one.

So end todays words of wisdom.

Hehe i know its an issue. to build/entertain a Carputer takes alot of time and energi.
The road to a "perfekt" carpc is long and has alot of configuration and planning.

I still have my girlfriend on my side and she respect my hobby. (took a while)
A girl who doesn`t should be with you.

Of course you have to enjoy a carpc not build bulid and build 24/7.

Remember:

A carPC is for life. Not just for Christmas

Women come and go but your carPC will always be there

They may both be tempremental and drain your money but you know your carPC can't help it and lets you watch porn in traffic jams

Just remember that a woman who cant share an interest with you isnt going to be there for the long haul, miserable bint should have been bringing you beers and sat in the back seat masturbating for your viewing pleasure while you were wiring the ******. Now to cheer youself up, just go **** her sister/mother. You deserve it!

.

I recently got engaged and as we're trying to plan the first parts of our wedding I'm completely re-building / modding my new truck for a car pc. (Including re-writing parts of the front end)

She's been pretty good with it. I'm lucky though because I work days she works nights. So when I get home from work me and the dog work on the truck with no hassles. However weekends are an issue, I obviously don't want my vehicle in shambles and she wants to go drive all over to find places to get married.

.

Oh I definatly got the "No ring on finger" hand wave by my GF when I made purchases.

I spent about 4k on a ring, she really loves it. I think honestly anything more expensive would have looked almost fake. Beleive me I was looking at some that were like 10-12k
