2.5" drive help?

hey all Ive got a frustrating problem here, i have a 2.5" drive enclosure and a 30GB drive inside that I'd like my nlited xp to talk to. I plug the drive in and in computer management, the drive comes up as healthy. In my computer the drive letter wont come up, even if I assign a ketter in disk management. If I click on explore the window pops up and dissapears after a secon. I can see the stuff in the 2.5 drive but I can't click on it. If I click open, from computer management I can see and use the data in the 2.5" enclosure. there is no drive letter.... any suggestions?
oh yea my XP is on a san disk extreme III cf card and the OS sees it as a removeable drive @ fat32. the 2.5" is a ntfs and logical drive...

.

I'm not sure I can do that, XP standard is 1.4GB install the CF card is 1GB. I've tried the drive and 2.5" on a normal computer it works just fine.

The system board & nLited OS has had a 2.5" drive and enclosure on it before. But not this particular drive and enclosure.

Fixed./

Well, I figured out what the problem was. So I'll post for anyone that has this problem in the future.

Because my OS is nLited and stored on a CF card, i used minlogon an XP embedded component which decreases boottimes (5-10seconds) There's known issues when Minlogon is integrated into XP pro and USB, (minlogon is an XPe component)

Minlogon was killing my USB external harddrive.
