You would think that our lovely government would have more productive things to do with all that money and time, rather than spying on me, my phone, and my car. Speeding tickets from this? You bet it will happen. The gov't LOVES collecting taxes - I mean fines - especially when they don't have to pay a state trooper to sit there with a radar gun. Maximizes their profits. If you think they actually have your safety in mind, think again.

I don't think cell phone tickets will ever happen, after all I was not the one driving or pehaps I let someone borrow the phone that day. Before they issue tickets based on cell phone speed, they would probably start with toll booth electronic tags. Even if you switch to cash, on many toll roads you have to turn in a ticket with a time stamp when exiting and then get a ticket based on you avg speed between toll booths. I guess you would have to claim you lost the ticket and pay the toll for the entire road(cheaper than a speeding fine).

Just curious, has anyone heard of racing for best times on toll roads? "I've got the ez-pass statment to prove it" sort of thing.
