New hacking related video

Alright, heres the scoop: I plan on making a hacking themed online video to spread around with each episode covering some sort of cool technology related topic. The first 4 episodes in planning are going to be:

- Xbox modding
- Car computers and carputer instalation
- The PhoneLosers of america and phone phreaking pranks
- Knoppix, linux, and other silly unix tricks

So onto the topic of carputers: I plan on covering major aspects that I use and getting interviews and demos from local people around here (because my install is a little weak right now). The episodes are also going to have a wiki format where other viewers are going to be able to contribute content (comments, Q and A, or videos). Does anyone know of any good free exsisting clips I could use for the episodes? Does anyone want to help out and make one (even digital camera video should be ok).

I like your idea. I think its pretty sweet. I'd like to help out whatever way i can. I could help promote your videos for sure.

I'm not sure of your video editing background and stuff and what your overall skills are with video making.

There are some really cool clips and mini vids out there showcasing carputers. I'm a noob at video editing, so that's out. I could contribute ideas, and possibly help compose materials, ideas, etc...

I have a friend who does video editing for the local video station, and he has some really nice dual core 2 ghz mac G5 boxes that I can use for editing on preimere. But yea I suck at editing myself, I rely on my friends.

Ill send you a PM tommorow when I have more ideas brainstormed.

That would be sweet. Either that or its late and im tired......oh yah I would love to contribute. I dont have any carputer friends where I live but im sure I could take some pictures or video of my setup, maybe. And like SnyperBob im just starting to work with video editing. Well he said noob.....Um I'm currently working on a Video for a retirement party.....but this is the second video ive ever made. So i guess...yah...noob. Anyways, (i dont know why i do this, it must be lack of slepppppppzzzz~) after dec 10 im free to pursue new projects. pm me then

The vids at PP are tailored to/for gaming, but they are done by a film student and very professional. They are funny have a flowing plot from episde to episode and have created a huge fan base because of how well they are produced.

They even created their own music for their videos. Anyway, just wanted you to check them out and kinda get some production ideas from them.
