the alarm thing is interesting to me....what alarm? was it professionally installed?

I've yet to run into a single issue with mine....

also, on your radio, how close is your PC located to your Radio source?

are you running a FM card on your computer or just FM from your head unit?

Stock factory alarm. Not sure where the antenna/receiver for the alarm is.

The radio antenna is in the back window, part of the glass. I have my wireless antenna and gps antenna right there; I think it *might* be the gps antenna, although that is not a transmitting antenna, only recieving, the power going to it as part of the USB might be a problem.

I know the wireless is not a problem, since I disabled it, and it makes no difference.

The radio is the factory radio, and it is located in the dash, the carPC is in the trunk. Plenty of wires running everywhere around the car, though.

Next weekend, I will be doing some more troubleshooting.

Which power and signal?

The reason I ask, is that no, all the wires are run together; however, every RCA cable I have is twisted pair, noise rejecting, as well as every speaker wire. Additionally, the only problem I have is with radio reception. Playing CD's on the stock CD changer, or on the carPC, playing mp3's on the PhatBox mp3 drive, or on the carPC, or just any sound in general is perfectly fine, EXCEPT for radio reception. And, when the carPC is turned off, radio reception goes back to normal.

The power cable runs from the battery via 0 gauge to a distro block in the trunk, and from the distro block to the various amps, and to my CarPC, also in the trunk. Until I installed the carPC (which came after the amp install) the radio reception was great. This is why I believe it to be a CarPC related problem, as opposed to a power/ground issue.

I understand every speaker and RCA being noise rejecting, but, that doesn't prevent it 100%.

You should never run them together with power, no matter how good they are, there will ALWAYS be a chance for interference. Different signals can cause different things to happen.

Hmm, well, okay, I concede, BUT, I never had any interference when it was just the amps. Only when I added the carPC did I start getting radio interference, and only radio,m not on any other audio. So, I still seem to think that isn't the problem, although I haven't been able to discover what exactly is the problem.
