climb through to the boot with a torch if you cant open it. I assume the 325 has fold down seats.

Not mine, but i can take them out...that still wouldn't help because i just put a sub box in yesterday that barely fit (which means there's no way im getting in there from the back seat.

My trunk looks like this...

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...t=71921&page=6

Page 6 has the trunk and you can see the hole used for a ski pass through. On page 8 you can see the sub box that i just put in there that's blocking that hole...(looks for smiley again, but remembers)

oh well. Once you get in there you will have to extend the remote opening cable on the inside of the boot (trunk ) so you can get in there if it happens again.

I think you may be onto something about the loose ground terminal, but I don't think you blew a fuse. Your symptoms sound a lot like a simple loose terminal. I had that problem and it made my car seem completely dead. Once you get into the trunk, the first thing I'd recommend is to see if either of the terminals has any wiggle room whatsoever.

Good luck!

elcorridor ftw!!!

So, the AAA guy came and we tried jumping the battery........nothing.

We checked the fuse box.......fuses are fine.

He left.

I stick my arm in the rear speaker hole in frustration and start feeling around where the battery might be...i find the ground terminal and i wiggle it around and the next thing you know there is a light shining in my eye....

So, i start my car and its all sludgy at first, but then it stables out. I go back to the trunk and touch the positive battery terminal and it is practically on fire (minus the flames)....it was scorching hot. I checked the ground cable and there is some wriggle to it. It seems that my system's ground cable was keeping this from wriggling prior to removing it (i had my amps grounded to the same location as the battery ground). When i removed my amps, this bolt won't sit tight anymore....weird....leads me to believe that this isn't the bolt that came with my car, which leads me to believe that the guys who initially installed my system had to improvise.

Oh well....thanks to everyone that helped me figure this out...now wish me luck driving home....lol.

LOL!
Go back to the install place, find the guy who installed it, look him dead in the face and say: "Give me back my bolt"

That should raise some laughs!
