Been gone awhile, but im back cuz the pc got jacked

Like most of you i was all excited about building my carpc. Spent a long time on this forum finding out everything i needed to know.

YOu guys are great by the way.

Got my system all done and then.....
the mofo got jacked
well parts of it got jacked that is. I had the center console in my tacoma modded to fit my pc. I have a dual din opening on the dash so the 7" lili fit nice in there. I went crazy and put a damn p4 in that ***** just to see if i could get it to work. Stupid idea. Not doin that again,

Anyways no one would have known the pc was there but i had the case taken apart cuz i was dickin with it and didnt put it together the night i stayed at my girls house. Next day i went to my truck and it had no passenger window. No subs. No dvd. No pc.

Actually i had parts of the pc. The dumb ****s couldnt get it out so they just tore up most of it. Stole the hard drive and ram. ****ed up the cpu and smashed my lili cuz they couldnt get it out. Smashed the dash plastic over the lili too.

So now im back and this time im gonna build a better system with a lot more custom features. Ill let you know how it all goes

Sorry to hear that man. Look at the bright side, at least they didn't steal your entire ride. I had that happen, not cool...especially with an older/rare car.

Anyway, did your insurance help you out at all?

Sorry to hear about your car man, that sucks.
Hope your rebuild goes smoothly, and you catch the dummies that did it.

insurance didnt really do much. I think i got like 1200 bucks out of the deal.
I didnt have receipts for most of the stuff and the subs werent a permanent install. Since thery werent bolted down like 99.9% of sub installs are done they didnt cover them. And i only got fair market value minus 5% for all my other stuff. So with my $500 deductible they figured all my **** was only worth $1700.

I dont know whats worse the ****ers that did the stealing or the ****ers that bent me over at the insurance company.
