What is the background when in radio mode? Hopefully not that God-awful blue

Can you load your own wallpaper?

How much does the faceplace go over a standard din size?

Well, my one has pooped as well. TV works fine, radio too, same with the memory card slot and USB but the unit won't play any discs at all. Fukcen crud!!!!

i had an innovatek dvd990 but when i search for a fm frequency it search with steps from .20 to .20 is that correct? i must change something to search better? is there anyone that has the manual?

i had the 386 dvd unit and everything worked fine for a month then the dvd stopped working so i got the 993 so far so good i'm looking to add the 10.4 fip downs i got ...got them for 67.00

If you have problems with DV-990, can write on kapriol@apollo.lv. This problem has been caused by incorrectly adjusted chip. Now we change the chip, and all works ideally. In case of need, we can send you the necessary chip. Its cost 20 $.

I took my DVD993 completely apart due to a reception problem with my radio. As mentioned, these are very cheap units and very poor workman ship.

My unit is fine except the radio – does anyone have one they want to get rid of that the dvd/cd doesn’t work but the radio does…. Between the two – I should be able to get one good one. I believe a DVD990 will also work for me..

has anyone tried any of the other cheap or no brand's in dash motorized screen dvd players w. monitor? i an looking into buying one of these and if you have any experience of buying any of these no brand players can you give me advise on to buy or not. how are yours' in the long run (atleast a year). I would like for mine to last atleast for 6 months where i can sell my car. Should i buy this cheap stuff?

I am trying to install my dvd990-4 system aswell but not avail. i did a dummy run and connected all the wires before i soldered them etc and everything worked fine.i soldered them and now i have problems.the unit wont power up.i checked all the fuses and they are ok.the led security light now just flashes rather than just staying constant.does this mean anything?

Indeed, the FM tuner goes 0.2 to 0.2 !! i want it in european mode ( i.e. 0.1 to 0.1 )

I sent my dvd-990 on decmeber 6th 2006 to hong kong. It arrived in HK on the 9th December. I was told by the ebay POWER SCAMMER (mostwantedauction) that he has it and has sent it off for repair. Come january 6th i ask what is the story with the unit and when am i getting it. He explained to me to be patient cos of the christmas holidays. Now come feb 6th, 3 months later he tells me that he never got the unit saying i never sent it and i never gave him the tracking number. Emailed him and told him that hong kong post says that it is ready to pick up from the post. All lies cos i do have every email sent to him and also the tracking number. He now says it has been stolen and its not his problem. WTF??? Now feb 21 he refuses to answer any emails. Just a warning do not buy from the ebay shifty prick MOSTWANTEDAUCTION. He is based in Hong Kong.

can't we just put a new dvd laser pick-up in there?
it would save the hassle of changing the whole unit and sending it back to the retailer

hi all i installed a innovatek 990 in my car and the only wires i hooked up are the POWER, GROUND,IGNITION AND A YELLOW RCA VIDEO CABLE TO ME BACK HEADREST SCREENS AND I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY HEADUNIT. IT PLAYS DVD;D AND CD,S ALL DAY ALL NIGHT NO MATTER WHAT I TURN OFF OR ON IN Y CAR AND I DID NOT HOOK UP THE E BRAKE WIRE OR THE ILLUMINATION WIRE OR THE BACKSIGHT WIRE. SO WHY IS EVERYONE HAVING A PROBLEM NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE ANY VIDEO WHEN THEY HOOK UP THESE WIRES.. LEAVE THEM DISCONNECTED AND TAPE THEM OFF. ASK ME ANY QUESTION ABOUT HOW TO GET IT TO WORK AND ILL TELL YOU. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS I CANT SEEM TO FIND THE DAMN REMOTE WIRE ON THIS RADIO AT ALL.. SO I USED THE IGNITON WIRE AS MY REMOTE AND JUST INSTALLED A CUTOFF SWITCH IN LINE WITH ALL MY EQUIPMENT.
