why not just buy a remote start. I have no tint and on 100+ days my car is around 60 by the time I get in.

Less fuel, less emmissions, easier on the engine. Remote start can be very handy, though. For me the most realistic benefit of window tint has been being able to read my LCD during the day.

Is that 5% due to the tint or the dirt?

the 2nd picture, it has a lot of dirt that the windshield wiper wiped you.

Can you take a pic of the sides, take one where the window is half way down so we can see the diff ,with double 5% inside and out

pimp bro but i still got to be able to see at night, if i had the money i would do 5% brow,5% front 2 doors, and double 5% on back side doors and then 5% back. but all i have is 5% all around(except the front full windshield,i just have the brow).

but on a safety note, if you were ever to get in an accident and you werent wearing your seat belt, you would hit the winshield, instead of going through it(which would be optimal) it be like hitting a brick wall.

Wow thats insane!

I have stock 20% on my back windows (rear cargo and rear passangers) and 35% up front. I cant find a reputable shop to go any lower. So I just use a sunshade and some ghetto card-board cut-outs that I spray painted white to block the sun.

Ghetto white sun shades for the win!

out here in thailand, it's reversed for some reason. The shops quote the % by amount of VISIBLE LIGHT that it blocks, i.e. 10% blocks 10% of the light and lets through 90%. I've got 90% everywhere except on my winshield which has 60% (i live inthe city so it's well lighted at night). While it does keep my from quinting and i gues blocks UVs, it often gets to the upper 90s + and the car heats up so much when parked, that the tint seems to be keeping the heat in. But it does it's job well when the car is up and running. Point being, if you're parked in the sun, crak open a window.
P.S. The tint also works well at keeping nosy kids from seeing if i left a mobile phone in there or not, and I gave quite a few pretty ladies a nice surprise when they were checking out thier reflection only to find that i was in the car.
Did i mention you can stalk your ex w/o her knowing you're in the car........
