Wouldn't that make their prices not like TigerDirect?

Did a little research on this, they were supposed to have this launched in October 2005. Went to Newegg's website, I don't see anything saying coming soon? Also Newegg.ca is not up, if they decide to use that. If they use UPS we will get hosed on custom fees.

Hope it does come soon but if they use UPS, its pointless.

"Canada
Newegg has announced plans to expand their online store to Canada and Puerto Rico. They were planning to release it on October 10, 2005, but due to some issues, it has been delayed to an unknown future date. It will be using the domain http://www.newegg.ca/. This was confirmed by a post made by Newegg support staff [5]. There is an ongoing discussion about this release on many online forums as well"

taken from wikipedia

apparently they're still workin on it, lol, but god, i hope they do go to canada

hmm, i was just wondering something, dont know if its a viable solution though..

if you live in canada, fairly close to the border, would it be possible to rent a PO box in the states? (they're fairly cheap, and if you order a lot of comp parts it might be worth it), then have newegg or wherever else that doesnt ship to canada, ship to that box?

being close to the border (vancouver is like a 2 hour drive to washington state), go down and pick the stuff up?

or would customs hit you with some duties if they found it? (never been to the lower states, so i dont know how it works)

Generally no duties on computer components, gotta love free trade! Where they ding you is for UPS to do the custom papers, 35 bucks or so.
