Mine is back on my desk and will be there for two to three days. Until i get Strret Deck, CF 1.7 and RoadRunner all fully configured and running its n ot going anywhere this time, should mention that last time i spent 24hours straight setting it up, this time having all my mp3s etc on a Second Partition means i only need to restall Windows etc.

I took me 3 mths or more to finaly get it installed. With most of the time it sat on the bench in my shop for fabrication and testing. The actual swap out of the seat for console and wiring up only took a weekend. The final peace was to mold the screen into the console and that took a few more mths to finaly get time to remove and finish.

this is how mine was sitting untill I decided how to make the computer case and where to install.

It sat like this for about two days after everything arrived and was tested. I took those two days to test every possible scenario and also to think about case design...

I started 6:02 AM 2/3/2006 (Friday)
The actuall installation took a full day or two. And im still not done yet... mostly due to my odd work hours and lack of free time. And to make matters complicated, I didn't want to work on it around home because I dont want my neighbors seeing what im doing and spreading the word into bad ears. So I always drove to the local 24h supermarket (walmart) parking lot or a family members house and do some actual work there.

And to this day there are still things i need to make changes. Im not happy with having the GPS in the back seat. There are few times when it needs reset, and usually its when I least can reach back. So that needs moved up to the visor.

tweeks.... tweeks... tweeks....
