Cool Drive+Play w/USA spec iPod and XM Radio

OK, here a tough one. I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the appropriate USA Spec iPod adaptor with aux input. I have my iPod Video 60GB and an XM Roady2 attached and it works perfectly. However, when I added the Harman Kardon Drive+Play and wired it according to the directions (the Roady2 goes to the the aux input of the Drive+Play) the Roady2 will not turn on.

Any suggestion?

Previously, the Roady2 would turn on by pressing one of the CD control buttons on my factory radio. That would turn off the iPod at the same time.

You kept the power connections the same? Does the Roady turn on with the audio connected / disconnected?
