Traffic Control

Hi all,

Would appreciate so suggestions to achieve the following.
Traffic behaviour in the Emirates is BAD. Lots of accidents and one of the highest death rates in the world. Not because the infrastructure is bad, that is first class. There are just a lot of idiots on the road with (very) fast cars and a lot of people have no clue how to drive. Note that there were hardly any roads here 25 years ago!
I want to put two cameras in my car (front and rear) and want to publish the live view of the traffic on my website. Ideally I want to store the videos and use them as evidence for the police to prosecute offenders.

Your comments are appreciated.

Henk

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dont help the police. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo
LOL. Hum so you want to do this via real time or strictly record and send them the clip of the offending cars. On a side note why are you doing this I mean I would get ****ed off if I swearved because I sneezed and you send the video tape with my plates and I get a court summons. Good cause but is it really that bad where you live?

Worse than you think. Traffic is the #1 cause of death here. The police is just not up to the task. Where else in the world can you pass the police at 100mph in a 60mph zone without being stopped and fined? Then there are a lot of people with 'connections' and/or an unlimited bank account.
As I wanted to put a camera in my car I might as well put it to good use.

I would prefer to have live data as well as a record of the data.

live data? good luck, you'll need a full time internet connection, then have a server to stream that data to

LOL. Dude, that's not gonna be enough to stream data fast enough to prove that someone's driving recklessly or speeding. That's barely enough to just send still captures. From ONE web cam.

It's more feasible to record vids and upload them to your site later.
