Wrong Power supply received from mp3car!

I need advice!
I purchased the CNX-P1260 power supply from mp3carstore on the 13th of June, received it about a week after, very excited, but i had no vga touch screen yet. I received my touch screen from another seller this week and started to work on my new install. everything installed properly but when i tested the power supply today,i heard flick... a blown fuse within the power supply . Started to checke every step once again, and realised I receive the WRONG power supply!! omg!! i in fact received the carnetix p1900v2!!! that out puts 19 v instead of 12v! What do i do now? I have the cables cut and soldered to suit my install and a blown fuse. I mean the 1900 is not new anymore! I just read the return policy of mp3car and they need a receipt and the product returned within 30 days from the date of purchase, at my own cost too!!... Any advice?

Just call them. I think they understand that most of us buying parts and have it sit in the box/table/desk without looking at it for months.

Thank you all of you. I feel that i'll be around again with encouragements and with new frodo skins for you as well.

Here is what i sent to them a few minutes ago...

"Dear mp3car store,
I purchased the CNX-P1260 on the 13th of June 06 but had no VGA touch screen yet. I recently received the touch screen and started to work on my new install this past week. Everything installed ok but when I tested the fuse of the power supply blew , this time to realise that I received the wrong power supply. I in fact receive the Carnetix p1900v2. It outputs 19v instead of 12v. I read your return policy yesterday and was wondering what could be done about this matter. The power supply is not new anymore, as I cut and soldered the cables to suit my install. Is it still possible for me to get the CNX-p1260 because my 200Watt power supply, that I also bought from mp3car store last year, only takes 12 volt input to power the motherboard.

MP3 Store emailed back!!

Order 11599 had two P1260 power supplies on it. Did you recive two P1900s? Sorry if there was any mix up, what you'll have to do it send it back to us and we'll send you the right one.

I wrote again:
Thank you for responding to my situation.

I only ordered and paid for 1 Carnetix p1290 psu and received 1 p1900 psu only. Please confirm with me and I'll send the p1900 to you ASAP. Note that I started to work on the 1900 and the cables have been cut/soldered and that the fuse is blown. I don't think there has been any damage throughout except for the fuse.

regards,
