I was coming home from a club. It was around 2:30am. I was driving on the highway going about 80 I fell asleep for a second, misjudged a turn and ended up in a deep medium ditch. Somehow I was about to drive out of the ditch and my car made it home. It was extremly difficult to drive the car as the steering was all messed up.

Carlos, that dont look healthy...... driving home from clubs is a bad time for me too.... going hard with mates dancing to club/hard house for 6 hours straight, then having to come down and jump in the car and drive home..... ugh!

i guess like all things, you just learn from the mistake.... move on..... hope it all works out for ya dude!

Wink

Damn, please go have ur self checked out by a doctor cuz u might not know right now if u have some internal body damage.
Good to hear the computer is ok and you too ofcourse. NOTE: if you are going to drive after club or what not around 12:00am please stop by the nearest 7-11 and get a cup of coffee or a chewing gum, that always works for me after nights watching the drag race....

Man, I'm glad your OK. It's a really good idea to get to a doctor and get checked out. Who knows what happened internally.

As for the car, I'm sorry to say that it looks like it's totalled. That kind of body damage is generally considered unrepairable. If the car has special meaning to you, it can be repaired. But most likely the insurance will not foot the bill, and the car will never be the same...

I've been through this (too many times) and know how you feel. I hope everything works out for you.

Oh, and claim the MP3 player on the insurance even though it may not seem damaged. Have them send it to a shop to be checked out. I didn't do that, and ended up getting stuck with the bill for a new motherboard...

i had the pc im sitting at now (monitor as well) in the car with me when my brother ran up the arse end of a car (stop at the lights) doing 60kph. I checked it all out myself afterwards and everthing is fine(not even a bad sector) ,. both the monitor and the pc have never missed a beat. wierd cos the pc would have taken a hard bash.

It's a total loss. I'm waiting to see how much insurance co. will give me. The car is worth 12,080 according the kbb.com. I'm crossing my fingers hoping they will give me something around that.

this sounds bad, but i really really wanna get a nissan maxima, and was considering wrecking my intrepid so i could dig into my savings that my parents for some reason (i'm almost 23 for crying out loud) won't let me touch till i finish 14 hours of college.

funny how when you want something so bad, you'll do the dumbest things to get that something.

heh, oh well, misguided youth i guess
