I have bench tested my xp-m 2600 (45W version) OVERCLOCKED to actual 2.5Ghz with 1gb ram running off an opus 150 powered by a 10A max 12V psu with a 3.5" hdd and a full size optical, mouse and keyboard. ie all running off no more than 120A. My pc has dual VGA out and CAN do 800x480 res with the onboard graphics. Dont rule out the XP-M as Rob suggested.

PS not actually going to run overlclocked in the car but was just testing.

Why not go with a micro-atx gforce 6150 board with a sempron AM2? I should be low enough power to run off a M2-ATX and it'll give you some power. Just make sure you get the 35W model. That'd probably run you about $160 for the mobo and proc.

The increased memory bandwith may increase STR time... i dunno.. just hoping.
