touchscreen or not?

So I'm workin on my second truckputer and I'm not sure what way to go. Is touchscreen really that well worth it, or would I be fine just molding in the 14.5 screen I have here that is NONtouchscreen? I used to just use a numberpad to navigate thru windows and everything else. The first screen was not touch and I'm not sure if I want to go touch or not. I'm hoping to get some thoughts on it. I've searched and I guess I dont know how to do it right.

Opinions and thoughts are welcome. It would be goin into an 03 silverado, pushing polk components and a 12" Audiobahn.

My opinion is it works and that's about it. I am right handed and drive a right hand drive car so it means I have to use my left hand on the screen. Car movement and me not being the greatest with my left hand anyway means for me it can be a bit hit and miss getting the right buttons. My plan for my next car puter is to try and get a usb version of a touch pad like is on a laptop. I reckon I can place this somewhere that would be much more relaxing to use and more accurate because of it.
This is just my opinion and there are loads of people out there that would swear by a touch screen.

I like having the touch screen, I also have a wireless presenter to control iTunes, and WMP, it also has a trackball and mouse control. I have yet to try it out in the car, but it's nice for having in my dorm room since my laptop is hooked up to my surround sound system.

Touch screen has a coolness plus, but I bet with a keypad it will be easier once you memorize the keys.

yes I know they are around £30 or £60 if you want the all singing all dancing. Think the basic smaller one would be the best idea though
