true, but for us that use carpcs..
i would NEVER lose my analog cluster, for a windows controlled screen, lols
get pulled over
"do you know how fast you were going?"
"umm.... blue?"
"step out of the car please"
blue screen of death? no thanks, haha

I have a feeling that they will be prevented some how to be in line with local laws etc.
That been said if you could alternate ? At the least just display audio and basic gps info it saves moving your head to the side when driving... ?

i dont doubt that it would be illegal, at least from a person controllable computer anyway.., at least i hope they're illegal, that could be scary, lol
but the alternating idea, thats not so bad, but, if i had something like that in my car, i wouldnt want to mess with it
most cars can have a screen fabricated to the side of the cluster, only have to look a little left, same height, and then you can have whatever you want (the route im planning on going), i guess it isnt a complete digital screen cluster.., but probably the safest legal route right now
