A restart is most commonly caused by a faulty driver / system crash. Have you tried to view the Event log to see if it has any details about the error?

Likewise, assuming you're using XP have you turned off automatic restart on system failure? (control panel => system => advanced tab => startup & recovery) This may give you some more information.

I have the error logging and reporting turned off. I'm pretty sure that the system isn't set to restart. I just don't understand why it would start doing this out of nowhere. Could be the bios as well. I'll check tomorrow after school. Thank you by the way.

Is it rebooting just running off of the m2, or did you try bench testing with a regular PSU? Could be that since you brought up the CPU speed that the PSU isnt putting out enough power when the system throttles up?

I'm having the same issues with my CPU @ 100% when I play MP3s. I peg out in or out of SD- it's a known Windows Media Player issue. Most of the fourms that I have read pint to bad codecs.
